This is a "pigtail" on Iron Mountain Road - the coolest paved road in the Black Hills! It does a tight loop and crosses over itself on a trestle, then goes through a narrow tunnel.

Iron Mountain Road is route 16A located 2 miles S. of Keystone and Mt. Rushmore. At one point the 2 lanes of the road completely split and are only one lane wide with trees in the middle! Cool.
